Waste to Energy
Solar Renewables Ltd.y is in the forefront of the net zero emissions charge by helping to reduce the amount of methane generated from illegal dumpsites and landfills - it is important to note that methane has approximately 30 times higher impact on the environment compared to carbon dioxide.
The implementation of waste to energy systems for our country is a high priority and the objective of Solar Renewables Ltd. is to produce energy and alternative fuel from waste through biochemical processes such as anaerobic digestion, fermentation, and thermochemical processes, such as pyrolysis and gasification.

As at 2018, there were over 2,000 waste to energy plants converting municipal solid waste to energy and heat globally, with only two situated in Africa and none optimally working in Nigeria.
As a research focused organization, we will utilize feasibility studies, innovation, technology, and partnerships, to determine the best waste to energy system and technology capable of handling our specific waste types to generate immense amounts of energy towards unlocking Africa's growth potentials.
