Solar panel installation is the process of setting up photovoltaic (PV) panels on rooftops, ground-mounted structures, or other suitable locations to capture sunlight and convert it into electricity.
Solar panels work by converting sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) cells. PV cells, typically made of silicon, absorb sunlight, causing electrons in the material to become energized. The cost of solar panels in Nigeria varies depending on the system size, quality, and installation requirements. On average:
Small systems for basic appliances cost around ₦200,000 to ₦500,000.
Medium systems for powering households cost between ₦1,000,000 to ₦3,000,000.
Larger systems for businesses or industrial use can cost ₦5,000,000 or more.
